Open Source Gallery hosted a weekly camp/workshop, for kids ages 7-12, where children were supervised in the construction of creative, fun and functional soap box racers out of recycled material. Hubert Dobler and Monika Wuhrer conducted the workshop.

Derby @  Open Source Gallery

....... the 17th street was closed to traffic and had one of its annual block parties. Given that Open source Gallery is in the South Slope NY, the street provided enough incline for the derby, woohoo!
